August Review + XP Cash-In

Five months down!
Remember, we're not here to beat ourselves up over our failures, but to celebrate our successes! With that in mind, please leave a comment on this post letting us know which August goals you accomplished, and also go back through the month and count up your longest consecutive run of substantial check-ins you had in a row (remember, "I did nothing"s don't count! a check-in should include at least one thing that you did that was positive that day). Round down to the nearest number of consecutive weeks you checked in, and then leave that number in bold at the bottom of your comment to earn your XP! Please also indicate how you would like that XP to be divvied up among characters.
NOTE: Apparently I totally forgot to dole out XP last month so I will be doing both at the same time! Sorry for my failure.

Reflection:
I let myself slide away from doing check-ins pretty much all month, because I've been settling down into my new life, and I've been doing a good job of balancing a lot of things without needing to stay accountable 100% of the time. I do want to come back to it, however. Overall, despite falling behind in certain categories, I still kept up with a lot of things, and more important than anything else, I'm feeling incredibly happy with who I am and where I am. A lot of people have commented that I seem happier than they can ever remember me - even a guy who has worked with me for like ten years, who was unaware of my situation, randomly told me that I seemed more vibrant and happy than ever, and I think that is what is more important than anything else. I appreciate greatly other people helping me keep up this community however, since it hasn't been easy for me to always be here to post it daily. ♥

+ only eat out twice a week, and only get lunch at the caf once a week

✗ i started off great and then dwindled as time went on, but i've also been less dehydrated so
⟶ eat during the day
✗ mostly succeeded, but there were a few days where i just forgot to eat period so :/
⟶ at least thirty minutes of yoga
✓ i did great the first three weeks but then i hurt my back and had to take a break.
⟶ at least ten minutes of stretching for wrist
✗ also did great during the start of the month when my wrist was hurting pretty bad but once it stopped hurting, i also stopped stretching it
⟶ at least ten tags a day; not including same thread boomerangs
✓ kicked but almost every day! there were a few days when i worked late and didn't manage all ten, but i got nirvana a bunch throughout the month so setting the small goal and achieving it repeatedly i think helped my motivations.
WEEKLY
⟶ exotic friend date with matt & todd
✓ SO MANY
⟶ get out of the house with emily on days off
✓ we did good, but then em got her new job (she's the bomb.com) and our days off do not coincide, but we still got out of the house a few times
⟶ keep bedroom cleaned & keep on top of laundry
✓ less on top of laundry, but it's not too bad and it's not getting out of control
⟶ keep tracking updated
✓ fully updated at least once a week, and i kept on top of updating when i started new threads
MONTHLY
⟶ do not spend money on clothes/frivolities
✗ it was at least under $20 total for the month and underwear is a basic human right
⟶ at least one bit of new cr per person
✓ so much new cr, i'm really proud of it.

-Start one of the games in my library.-Finish Stranger Things with Shawnlol i wanted to do check-ins and then only did the first day whoops. mental health slipped a bit but i'm working on it. let's see if i can do better this month~

✔ lose 3 lbs; actually went down 5.5! I'm just about to hit 20 down since we started in April and 30 down since my doctor's visit in January.

I was so stressed this month I just did not make time or find motivation to exercise enough and I am feeling the difference. :c
life/adulting:
✔ budget time for school, adjust sleep schedule; made a weekly schedule to follow and bend as necessary
✔ monitor mood/adjustment to new dosage
✘ tires. :| My tire money had to go to textbooks because financial aid fucked up so I am paying myself back out of my tuition refund to get tires.
