June Review + Check-In

Remember, we're not here to beat ourselves up over our failures, but to celebrate our successes! With that in mind, please leave a comment on this post letting us know which June goals you accomplished, and also go back through the month and count up your longest consecutive run of substantial check-ins you had in a row (remember, "I did nothing"s don't count! a check-in should include at least one thing that you did that was positive that day). Please also indicate how you would like that XP to be divvied up among your characters. The first week of June we started late, so those first few days are freebies!

Overall, I'm satisfied. Even the things I failed at, I generally made progress. Going to make less goals next month.

Work was super intense all month and I was reaching meltdown point but on a positive note? I did talk to my boss about it (something I'm bad at doing) and not only has she offered more support and understanding but she also gave me a pay rise, which was nice!
Despite how crazy things got, I did get through it and I did step back when I could feel myself getting frustrated or pissed off about things which to me is another win.
Healthwise? Man I need to get better at juggling a really busy schedule with taking care of myself. I worked back late or skipped lunch far too often and I was coming home and feeling like a zombie which is good for nobody. While I didn't eat terribly I also am not getting the exercise I need, and a big thing I'd like to focus on is improving my health and fitness moving forward.
On a positive note, I did find setting aside time to do something constructive around the house every day, no matter how wrecked I felt, really made a difference. Instead of having a heap to do on the weekends it wasn't so bad and things are cleaner and more organized than they were. No deep cleaning achieved BUT, it's a lot better.
KoK made a HUGE difference to me keeping up with tags. Even those small goals of 5 a day during the work week and 10 a day on weekends helped a lot. I didn't achieve those goals every day, but then others I absolutely smashed them. It helped to keep me from becoming overwhelmed so that RP could continue to be fun instead of another stressor.
I did do some financially responsible things, like set up regular payments for all my bills so that I could get ahead. Haven't seen the payoff from that yet but I'm sure I'll be grateful in the coming months.
It wasn't a great month but it wasn't bad either. A mix of good and bad but it's helped me identify changes I need to make and in a lot of ways I'm just grateful I survived June!
Oh, AND! I checked in every day!!! I think that helped a lot with getting through the hellish days.
