october 2016 goals post
It's that time again! A new month, a clean slate. Stretch yourself to add a new goal or two this month if you want, or just double down on some you might have fallen short on last month.
Examples of possible goals can be found here.
Remember to both challenge yourself, and be realistic so that you're not just setting yourself up for failure! And remember, just checking in can net you XP, whether you wind up meeting all your goals or not. ♥
no subject
+ 500 words of revision each day (stretch goal: 1000)
+ at least 1 tag on all weekdays
+ 10 papers graded each day
+ gym on tuesday/wednesday

❄ start doing this check in thing
❄ at least half a bottle of water each day or the equivalent while at work.
❄ start exercising at least more than when i'm at work or walking on campus.
❄ get to bed by midnight when not working my swing shifts.
❄ do at least five tags daily. make them game tags and different characters when possible.
❄ do at least a bit of homework each day so i'm not rushing on sundays.
WEEKLY
❄ don't go out to eat more than once a week.
❄ study dates with ruby or texting her about how much homework sucks.
❄ put work money in my accounts. split between savings and spending money at least with a 10/90 split.
❄ try and do graduate school research once a week.
❄ weekly tag count should be 35 at least, sticking to bare minimum.
❄ don't let myself get super behind on my tv watching

❄ pick up as many shifts as i can.
❄ continue asking for updates on job situation and moving up so to speak.
❄ limit treating myself to when i truly need it.
❄ register when i need to treat myself or give myself a break.
❄ allow myself to add things that might not be on this list to my check-ins for potential pick me ups if i felt as if i failed everything on my goals for the day. also called thank heavens i did at least this one thing.

→ up by 7:30 20/28 days (starting 10/4)
→ 20:00-21:30 - 90 minutes of RP time per night. 30 minutes to wind up creativity and 60 to write. no breaking the appt. stick and play longer with tags instead of moving on from them. embrace the discomfort. no chat.
→ bed by 22:30, screens OFF (listen to an audiobook or read comics)

→ RP: back to 10+ tags per day now that hiatus is over. Spruce up muselist, active journals, character sheets etc. as needed.
→ Reading: finish at least one book that isn't for school this month; ideally two.
→ WoW: Get shadow priest raid geared for Emerald Nightmare (sooner the better).
→ FFXIV: Get Amri through the new story patch. Balthier to 50 so he can have his damn room. Get Rynn through Final Steps/to the current patch, help Brooke & Ashley with any and all dungeons on the way up to Heavensward.
