- emailed the y about small group exercise program
- talked to my mom about metformin/her endocrinologist
- organized all the kid's clothes/put away their winter stuff/put away cleaned laundry
- did the dishes
- tidied downstairs
- didn't eat out today
- only drank water
- took medication

x did 0 tags and i'm too tired to do anymore
♥ performed crit happens... it went ok. we made like 70 some bucks (40% of the house take) which is crazy.

I am on Week Two of trying it and I love it. It takes a very different approach to healthy living and eating than most other apps I tried, because this takes the psychology approach to it - not just looking at your eating and exercise habits, but also the mental and emotional triggers, hangups, and motivations behind what we're doing. It takes into account depression and anxiety and stress and a whole gamut of things that might stall you out or hold you back or are basically you struggling against your brain when bettering yourself etc.

And what's more, it's fun. It takes a really positive and fun approach to all the things it tries you out on, it helps you pace and doesn't overload you with too much at once. The daily articles and motivations and encouragement are both hilarious and really helpful.

The "diet" part of it is not revolutionary, but it does focus on the breakdown of what you eat and emphasizes eating "low-caloric density foods", which is basically a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables that have high water content to help you feel full, rather than like a handful of raisins or nuts (they use the term getting more bang for your buck, basically.) they way they breakdown how much of what kind of food you should be eating has been really easy to follow and doesn't punish you for the occasional indulgence or meal that wouldn't be considered completely "healthy" - it just works it into what you're doing anyway.

tl;dr I started it on a whim because another friend suggested it to me after her therapist told her about it. And I would definitely suggest it to anyone who's either trying to lose some weight, trying to get into better shape, or just trying to live healthier.
