June Goals

The first step to improving ourselves is admitting that none of us are exactly where we want to be. Whether you're using this to help you get back on the wagon, climbing on the wagon for the first time, or just trying to upgrade to a better wagon, only a few people join the Knights with superpowers that let them skip the hard work phase (and hey, a lot of our superheroes spend more time in the training room than anyone). To that end, use this post to set at least one goal for yourself for June. 

Example goals could be: setting a weight lost goal, a calorie intake goal, vowing to exercise x amount of times a week, deciding to start learning Swahili/Spanish/Elvish, teaching yourself something, reading so many books, doing something positive for your mental health every day, etc!  You can find more examples from people in the past here.

As an added incentive, if you check in regularly, you can earn XP for your bank and your characters! 

Check in for 1 week straight = 250xp
Check in for 2 weeks straight = 500xp
Check in for 3 weeks straight = 750xp
Check in for the entire month of June daily = 1000xp!

A check-in requires posting on every single check-in post that goes up with something you did to help you reach your goals or improve yourself that day. We will cash in your earned XP on the next monthly goals post, and you can then decide how to divvy up what you've earned among your characters, based on how much you want to imply they've been training off-screen!

W R I T I N G • R P:
— At least 5 tags a day.
— Start for-real planning one of the original works rolling around in my head.
— Just do more of it.

H E A L T H:
— Make the Dr.'s appointments that I've been putting off (eye, endo, gp).
— Walk home from work (walking to work is sketch because it's still dark) every day.
— I'll be happy if I lose even two pounds this month. I'm heavier than I've ever been and whoa buddy do I need to slow my figurative and literal roll.

M E N T A L • H E A L T H:
— Use the 5 Minute Journal I bought in addition to my regular one.
— Spend more downtime with books and less downtime with the computer.
— Get more of this CBD oil from the shop close to work.
