July Review + XP Cash In



 Month four is complete!

Remember, we're not here to beat ourselves up over our failures, but to celebrate our successes! With that in mind, please leave a comment on this post letting us know which July goals you accomplished, and also go back through the month and count up your longest consecutive run of substantial check-ins you had in a row (remember, "I did nothing"s don't count! a check-in should include at least one thing that you did that was positive that day). Round down to the nearest number of consecutive weeks you checked in, and then leave that number in bold at the bottom of your comment to earn your XP! Please also indicate how you would like that XP to be divvied up among characters. I'll do a fake example in mine below.

i stopped checking in with this at some point out of laziness, but my commute generally does require me to walk roughly a little more than a mile every day. woooo

+ only eat out twice a week, and only get lunch at the caf once a week
ha ha ha ..... ha .......

RP/WRITING:
✔ Keep on top of [community profile] fandomweekly challenges, both writing and voting.
✔ Complete [community profile] getyourwordsout challenges as they happen
✔ Try to complete requests when able (standing at 6/37) Ended with 8/37
✔ Minimum 10 tags from each game per day. If I don't have 10 tags in that particular game, make up the difference with PSL tags. - I didn't do it every day necessarily, but I ended the month with 800 tags done.
✘ One day a week spend posting PSL logs for Alison. - I did do some, but I did not do it every week.


RL/EXERCISE:
✔ Walks with Mom 6 times a week.
✔ Try to do more social things/get out of the house.
✔ Job search related things 5 days a week. Like I have an actual job. - I have two interviews this week!

JULY GOALS
ᴅᴀɪʟʏ ʟɪғᴇ▷▷▷
▸▸▸ my biggest issue overall tends to be not rationing out my damn energy so this month i would like to take anywhere from 5-20 minutes around noon to just sit and be -- no screens, no talky, don't sleep just. just chill, rin. like for real idc if you're having a super awesome energyriffic day DO IT ANYWAY.
▸▸ study for A+ 20+ min like idk why this is so hard tell kevin your inner stupid voice to stfu it does matter you enjoy it and get over yourself.
▸ fitbit daily!!!!
▸ eat better quality food -- fewer processed/fried foods, more fresh veggies and proteins
▸ training: proof cooper's watch in the back yard week one, front yard week two, sidewalk week three, while walking week four -- no skipping ahead pls. changing this to retraining his walk to be less about grazing and sniffing and more about walking & eliminating every few blocks or so.
▸ drink a silver tiger daily

REFLECTION:
( Successes ) I studied like a bananapants person, I chilled like no other, I changed where I charge my Fitbit so I'd remember to put it back on daily, I logged everything I ate even if it kinda sucked, and I only missed one day of tagging at least once \o/

( Partial-successes ) OK so we eat out a lot bc Jared's been supes busy and we don't really cook unless we do it together, but I did better about choosing better takeaway foods. Cooper and I both had some hiccups this month and training didn't really go as crisply as last month but we did some work and he's more responsive when called to keep moving. Also I didn't strength train 3 days/week but I did at least do them once a week, so it's progress of a sort!

( Needs works ) Uhhhh right so the water thing fizzled out at the end of this month, I definitely did not hit PSL tags even once a week, and we ran maybe 3 times in July, oops. Back to the drawing board!

health & fitness:
lose 3 pounds
I've been carrying a lot of stress weight and stagnating while I've been trying to get school in order, but as things have been coming together, the weight has come off! I am now lower than where I was when I started in May, lost about 7 lbs this month. Some of them were re-lost, but I'm gonna take it.
continue logging food every day
continue exercising five days a week
I did well on this except for the last week. :c
go for a walk at least 1x a week
A lot of them were short walks, but I got out and did them which was a big push for me!

life:
straighten out financial aid with school
Long story as to why I can't get aid until next semester at the earliest, but I did get a private loan approved so I can start at the end of the month!
put aside as much money as I can for new tires
FINANCES :| But I did tuck some in there.

mental health/hobbies:
finish one book in July
Not even close, lmao. I've been terrible about making time for reading.
stay on top of inbox/10+ tags per day
I'm not going to hold the time my internet was out against myself; otherwise I feel like I did mostly well at keeping up with my inbox this month (with the exception of Dorian who I was floundering with since I knew he was probably going home at the end of the month). It could probably be even better, but I put a lot of effort into keeping up with things.
FFXIV: Amri's Weaver to 60
FFXIV: Amri's Dark Knight to 60, Balthier to 50
Internet made this one tough since dungeon running was not an option. Balthier is sitting at 45, which is still progress.
WoW: Ashe to Draenor
We hit Catacysm! Internet hindered this one too.
WoW: Braydin transferred to main account
Tales of Zestiria progress
I give up on this one for awhile. >.>

Health & Fitness
lose 2 pounds (Current=201, Goal=199) = 199lb hit!
Log calories in MFP daily = Accomplished!
Take a supplement daily = Managed this almost every day this month. Unsure if it made much of a difference but maybe?
X Walk the Marina 3xweek = Accomplished this 3/4 weeks of the month, as the last week of the month was spent running hubby to Dr appointments and cut into exercise time. Also this changed from Marina hikes to Pokewalks about the neighborhood instead. >.>

Real Life
Cleaning 2xweek = Mostly Accomplished, although a few days there in the middle were very minor.
Get landscaping finished = Finally got all the trees and bushes done THANK GOD. Have an appointment with a landscaping crew to look over yard at the end of summer to assess how to overhaul it for spring.
Pay off one debt = Accomplished!

Hobbies:
X Try to clear one character inbox a day. (3@Eway, 2@ActiveKoL, PSLMusebox) = Hiatused for much of the month and took an extensive break instead. Cherry-picked as brain allowed.
Wrap up backtagged threads from May/earlier, especially Solas' intro in KoL. = Mostly accomplished with the exception of maybe two ongoing threads.
X Finish watching Shannara, finish Amberle's app = Still on my TDL
PSL's: New Mingle, maybe hit up some memes or poke people for some threads in my downtime = Kept up pretty well on my PSL goals for the month
X WoW: Solas to Draenor = Got him to Cataclysm.
FF14:
    Khari to 60.
    Khojin to Dark Knight.
    X Shay to end content. Finish getting Crafting to 40. = Shay still up to last fight. only 3 Crafting classes left to get to 40 and they are close.
