April Goals

april 2016 goals post
The first step to improving ourselves is admitting that none of us are exactly where we want to be. Whether you're using this to help you get back on the wagon, climbing on the wagon for the first time, or just trying to upgrade to a better wagon, only a few people join the Knights with superpowers that let them skip the hard work phase (and hey, a lot of our superheroes spend more time in the training room than anyone). To that end, use this post to set at least one goal for yourself for April.
Example goals could be: setting a weight lost goal, a calorie intake goal, vowing to exercise x amount of times a week, deciding to start learning Swahili/Spanish/Elvish, teaching yourself something, reading so many books, doing something positive for your mental health every day, etc!
As an added incentive, if you check in regularly, you can earn XP for your bank and your characters!
Check in for 1 week straight = 250xp
Check in for 2 weeks straight = 500xp
Check in for 3 weeks straight = 750xp
Check in for the entire month of April daily = 1000xp!
A check-in requires posting on every single check-in post that goes up with something you did to help you reach your goals or improve yourself that day. We will cash in your earned XP on the next monthly goals post, and you can then decide how to divvy up what you've earned among your characters, based on how much you want to imply they've been training off-screen!

I will work out 3/week.
I will run 1 mile/week.
I will read 3 books in April.
Setting low goals to ease myself into it without too much stress.
ARDENS GOALS
♥ finish college strong
♥ do some sort of physical exercise at least 6 days a week
♥ lose 3 pounds! (current weight = 155, goal weight = 152)

Alli's goals
- gym time 3 days a week
- home work outs 2 non gym days a week
- lose 5 lbs (current weight 228, goal weight 223)
- write 500 words a day for my novel! Gonna do it!!
EMILY GOALS
I will probably work on some variety in my exercising in May as well as adding in some books because I have a stack a mile high, but starting small, working my way up.
I lied, adding in some writing goals:
Gem goals
Plan in some extra long dog walks!
Start on the pile of books I keep buying and not reading (finish one!)
Reorganise all the boxes of products I have that aren't being used.
stella's goals
semi-consistently/starts small because i am uninteresting
popcorn anyone?
Christine's Goals
→ lose 5 lbs
→ get on reading all these books I keep buying or borrowing (finish at least one)
→ start keeping a food diary/tracking daily again

♥ Get back in the habit of tracking activity/calories on Fitbit/MyFitnessPal.
♥ Actually get to my spring gardening this year. >.>

Ashley's Goals
~ do some kind of actual activity 3 times a week
~ find a way to get more sleep/nap when needed instead of pushing through
~ catch up on shows (shadowhunters, lucifer, supernatural)
~ keep tracking my steps walked/hours slept with my activity tracker
Shana's Goals
~make at least 1 meal a day at home instead of eating out (frozen meals don't count, sandwiches and leftovers do)
~start a writing blog to go with my art blog and write 100 words a day
~finish twin peaks
~keep watching x-files
~draw every day (I mean what the hell might as well add one I'm already doing)
Shia's Goals
I will continue reaching my daily goal of 5,000 steps a day.
I will not skip eating lunch during the week because I am "busy."
I will make/take my lunch at least 2x a week for now.
